Mesta 206:
The definite conditions of use in the guide of use of the national state police are very restraining. He/it must be placed to the minimum to 70 cm of soil. The Mesta 206 must not be placed ever in a curve, nor to be unless 100 m of one of the extremities of a curve (except if she/it is extremely light). The angle of aim must be of 25° so that the vehicles can be taken of three-quarter face. The radar must never be close to broadcasts radioélectriques (high-tension line.). The issuing case of the Mesta 206 must not be back to more of 3 m of the pavement. This radar must not be used by time of rain, but it is the driver's to bring the proof that it rained on the place of speed (attestation of Weather report-France) control.
Mesta 208, Mesta 210, Mesta 2000/2200/3000, Mesta1010 (Case Automatic Mesta 1010 or Mesta 2000 with Flash), Multanova 6F and the Gasto :
More discreet than the Mesta 206, these six radars are as more efficient. They function under rain, in the turns and can be embarked on board of a vehicle (generally of type station wagon with the tinted windows rear). They must be placed between 40 and 80 cm of soil. The Gasto and the Mesta 208 only releases at the time of the passage of the vehicle. The Multanova 6F, for his/her/its part, emits permanently.
Magda :
This new type of radar is used mainly by the national police on board of cars disguised. Magda means" "measure to big distance in the axis" ". His/her/its name means everything. He/it records the speed of the cars until a distance of 400 m. In general, when one sees it, he/it is already too late.
Multalaser and the Eurolaser :
These are the last-born of the radars. They use themselves as video cameras. They are capable to measure the speed of a vehicle to more of 500 m. It is sufficient to aim the car with a small red point, and to push so that the speed is displayed on the device. They function of night as day, on a clear day and under rain.
