- The process which allows to determine the speed of a vehicle is as a rule relatively simple. It(he) rests(bases) on the broadcast(emission,issue) of a bundle of microwaves in the direction of a similar vehicle. A part of the bundle is sent back(dismissed) with the target and got with the broadcasting radar. The frequency of the thoughtful signal varies proportionally according to the speed of the vehicle. This phenomenon is known under the name of Doppler effect. The radar determines the speed of the vehicle according to the difference of frequency between the thoughtful signal and the emitted(uttered) signal.
